2025 is now behind us. What we experienced in the past year is no longer the focal point; what matters is that we continue to advance steadily. The external environment remains complex and challenging, and competition within our industry never ceases. Yet, it is precisely such adversity that has revealed our collective resilience. Not only have we held our ground amidst the turbulence, but we have also deepened our roots and accumulated greater strength through the upheaval. This steadfastness is built upon the dedication in the lab during countless evenings and weekends, the quiet perseverance at every post, and the resilience and sense of responsibility within each team.

Carrying our fervent original aspiration, we embark together on a brand-new journey, embracing the dawn and expectations of the coming year. Looking back from this new point in time, the past year has been filled with unexpected moments of movement,  transformations akin to breaking out of a cocoon, hard struggle under the stars and moon, and the sudden clarity of seeing light after darkness. Like galloping steeds, we remain neither arrogant nor discouraged in favorable circumstances, treading smooth paths with even greater solidity and strength. In adversity, like numerous vessels sailing forth, those who strive earnestly are always the first to reach the shore.

This year has been profoundly real. To describe it with hollow phrases would be a disservice to everyone. Because every single day we lived through cannot be summed up as merely "seasonal" or "fitting the occasion." Because this year is the footnote to three hundred and sixty-five days.

I have reflected for a long time on this past year, and the greatest sensation is that of "tempering." Tempered by targets, by change, by time. I recall those meetings that ran late into the night, the proposals revised countless times, you sending emails deep into the night. I remember those who helped shoulder others' burdens during the toughest times, those who, even when exhausted, thought about how to streamline processes, and those who proactively took on tasks they could have easily declined. These are all marks left by tempering. But what I want to emphasize more is that the purpose of tempering is never to make one numb, but to bring clarity. We have gained a clear understanding of our own capabilities' boundaries, the power of our teams, which endeavors are worth fighting for, and which drains can be minimized. This clarity is what we have gained at the cost of an entire year. It was costly, but worth it!

This year, each one of us has walked a difficult path, yet we have all persevered until today. This statement is not meant to be sentimental; it is a fact, and it carries weight. I have witnessed your immediate reaction to brainstorm solutions when others encountered problems, seen your eyes telling me "It's okay, we're here" during moments of peak anxiety. This presence, this "being here," is the most precious asset. A group of people willing to back each other up is the greatest fortune in one's professional career.

This year, we accepted the small regrets that accompany growth. We cultivated in the minute details, and we also witnessed the upward force of growth. On our path forward, difficulties, risks, and challenges continuously emerge. Yet we understand that these predicaments are, in fact, steps helping us ascend.

This year, we did not rely on luck. We relied on: resilience, patience, execution, and that little bit of "unwillingness to give up" within each person's heart.
